Internet Marketing
I have a lot of opinions about Websites and the Internet (considering I published Netscape
Navigator, Internet Phone, Hotmetal Pro (first graphical HTML authoring), plus the AOL retail product), but rather than trying to continually ad content to this section--I stopped. I am instead referring you to Web Marketing Today, an on-line magazine that has hundreds of pages of
excellent and up-to-date Internet content--I use the site regularly. Specific items of interest include:
Again, I would HIGHLY recommend subscribing to his premium newsletter--I do. The content is terrific and for only $49 you get the newsletter plus SEVEN different books (on e-commerce,
shopping carts, affiliate software, plus any new reports that come out (he had two new ones when I subscribed)). The books alone sell for almost $300 and saved me countless hours of
hunting and comparing for my own shopping cart and affiliate program--for $49 you get it all!
Do It Yourself Site Editing
Check out Edit.com. One of the companies I advise is Edit.com. They provide the opportunity for
individuals, small and large companies to edit their existing web site remotely. No longer do you have to bug your webmaster (who may work in IT and does things when he/she gets around to it,
or pay expensive fees to your original site designer) just to change out a picture, edit your copy or rotate a monthly special. Do it yourself in minutes.
There is a very inexpensive setup fee (apx. $75) and your site is then setup. After that, you can
edit at will on a per-time basis, monthly or year long for as little as $15 a month. A great idea, cheap, works great, and takes less than 10 minutes to learn--I highly recommend it! Ted - Chanimal.
